 Establishing a Serial IP connection

o When an IP address is specified, the modem is setup is Serial IP mode. It will attempt a

PPP connection as defined in its connection profile and if successful, it will establish a

connection to the specified IP address.

Note:

 When the modem is set in Always-on mode, the ATD command has no effect.
